For my cousin Lejla’s birthday (she just turned 18!). She invited Tarik, Girlypop (Irfan), and me to go hiking in Sarajevo.
The plan was to meet up at 5PM, but surprise surprise, that didn’t happen. Tarik thought it was later in the day, so he said he’d meet up with us later, which, spoiler alert,
never happened. But whatever, we still went with it.

Lejla, Irfan, and I decided to grab some sushi at Sushi Station instead. Fun fact: this was only my second time trying sushi.
I got a veggie roll which was okay, but the rest were really good, even if I'm not the biggest fan of fish.
We ended up canceling the actual hike but still wanted to go up one of those ski lifts that takes you up the mountain near the old Olympic bobsled track.
OH, also if you don’t have a Bosnian ID and you’re over 18, they charge 30 marks each. With an ID, it's only like 6 marks. Sadly, my ID wasn’t ready yet,
and neither was Lejla’s. Somehow, Lejla convinced the lady she was 17 and that she lived in Bosnia. Meanwhile, MY DUMBASS said I was 18, so I had to pay the
full 30 marks (Well tech Lejla and Irfan paid for me, which idk why they did LOL).

Once we got up there, it was a lot of fun! Lejla called it “exposure therapy” when she asked some random lady for an apple (of course,
she didn’t have one, but she was still kind). We took a ton of pictures and enjoyed the view. We also headed down to the bobsled track.
The only problem was that we only had about 15 minutes to get back onto the ski lift before they closed. Otherwise, we would’ve had to walk all the way down
the mountain in the middle of the night… and my phone was about to die. Thankfully we made it back with a few minutes to spare, even if we were out of breath.
After all that, we met up with my brother and hung out at a cute little cafe in the city to chill and hangout a bit.
Oh, and I also got dubai chocolate crepes with Merjem too.
