This time, we actually went hiking for real. The group was me, Lejla, Irfan, Nadi, Merjem, and Mejid.
The plan? Somehow avoid paying the 30 marks again lol. Three of them had IDS, but me and the other three didn’t.
Lejla and I got away with saying we were 17, but Mejid had to pay the full 30 marks.

We only got a one-way ticket on the ski lift, so we had to walk all the way down the mountain.
Honestly, I have no idea why we decided to do this so late at night. It was already 8:30PM when we started hiking down the old Olympic bobsled track.
Half of us didn't have jackets, barely any water, and service was spotty at best.

I did however have my trusty camera with me, and I was taking a ton of pictures of everyone along the way.
The photos were so nice too because the track was filled with graffiti. After about an hour and half of hiking, we finally reached the upper part of Sarajevo,
where you could see the whole city lit up. I decided I wanted to take a picture with my camera instead of my phone…

I reached into my purse and my camera was gone. I took everything out, checked every pocket and bag, but nope. Somehow it fell out during the hike,
and somehow none of us heard it happen. Nadi did manage to get a few photos off her camera and sent them to me, but I had no pictures of everyone else from the hike.
Merjem and Irfan even decided to go back up the mountain the next morning to retrace the trail and look for it, which was super kind of them, even tho they didn’t have to.
Sadly… the camera was never found. And since I'm leaving soon, I can't go back to search for it myself. Now she’s residing in another country.
Moral of the story: do not trust me with a camera again
All that we could salvage
